LONDON “TIMES” COMMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, Aug. 13. . A cablegram was received to-day by the Premier from the High Commissioner, stating the London “Times” in a leading article makes favourable references to the finances 'of the Dominion. ' Sir Joseph Ward expressed satisfaction with the comment, adding that in view of the fact that no effort had been made on the part of the Government to influence financial authorities in England, it would be assuring to some New Zealanders, who were having the same misrepresentations put before them in connection with the Budget.
