REPEAL OP ACT WANTED. HAMILTON, August 10. The Waikato Presbytery to-day resolved to support the Presbyterian Assembly’s Public Questions Committee on the subject oT the conscientious objectors. in military training in urging that there should 'be no discrimination as between different denominations, nor between divinity students and other conscientious objectors ; also asking the 'Government to prescribe alternative sendee and remit the sentences imposed on Richards and Miller; also expressing the opinion that the Compulsory Training Act should be repealed.
