On Wednesday at Kokatahi, Stars (Grey) defeated Kokatahi by three goals to nil. Mawhera defeated Runanga by ten goals to nil. Reefton Rovers ; defeated United A. (Grey) at 'Reefton hy five goals to one. :I A- N
The local Hockey Club travelled to Blackball on Wednesday, and . . were victorious by- 8 goMs fid,l. .Blackball scored their goal .within six minutes of the starting of the game. Hokitika soon settled down to the greasy ground and scored 8 goals in quick succession, hemming Blackball -; down in their own half. / Hokitika forwards combined well, H»ir passing being exceptionally good and. the backs gave them plenty of opportunities.
