MOTOR SMASH
TEN PERSONS INJURED. (Received this day at 9.25 a.m.) (Australian Press Association) SYDNEY, August 7. Ten persons were injured, seven serioitsly, when a parlour coach crashed head on into a tram at Ryde Two of the victims are not likely to recover. The drivers had miraculous escapes as the fronts of both vehicles were smashed in. Passengers in the bus were thrown into a jumpled heap. Some were jammed in the seats.
