CROYDEN POISONING

The final inquest on the three Croydon poisoning victims resulted in a verdict of wilful murder against a person or persons unknown. , ; ■' In " the case of Edmund Duff, the Coroner again lengthily, summed up, pointing out there was not a scrap of evidence to single out any member of the family as the poisoner. (Received this day at 12.25. p.m.) LONDON, August 6. After twenty-seven sittings the Duff inquest closed with a dramatic but inconclusive verdict. It is understood that .Scotland Yard is determined not to stop the investigation. Sooner or later the police are convinced that sensational developments are bound to occur.
