STRIKE TROUBLE
A WORKER’S EXPLANATION [Australian Press Association.) i Received this day at 9.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 31. The “Herald” published a statement >.v a timber worker whose name was with-held, in which he declares a majority of the strikers are on strike against their will. That Union meetings are dominated by a Communist coterie whose aim was the destruction of legitimate unionism and'the. creation of misery. He said no court was needed to go on strike. The real test was the preparedness of a man to act a"ording to his convictions, and refuse to lie terrorised by Trades Hall conspirators who received their orders from a foreign country.
