Whether or not all important verbal messages were delivered to the captain of L. 12, a few minutes before the collision on July Oth will be decided by a court martial on Lieutenant Claud, navigating officer of L. 12, who is charged with having caused the collision by (failing to avoid H. 47, an(d altering her course without warning the Commander of H. 47.
