MAWSON EXPEDITION

STARTING DATE. (Australian Press Association)., MELBOURNE, July 11. The members of the Mawson Expedition to the Antarctic, whose names were announced ,yesterday, must be ready to sail from Australia by the “Nestor” on September 18th. Two Moth planes will be taken on board the “Discovery” for short range flying. Mr Hurley’s cinema pictures are expected to be of great value. Ho will accompany the scientists in all of' their work. A member of the scientific staff will send frequent messages to the press of the expedition’s movements and activities.
