Advice has been received from Lieut, c/ini that the Southern Cross plans have been changed in view of the con- > dition oi tlie motors. The machine is leaving Karachi in daylight on Saturday. DEPARTING FROM KARACHI. KARACHI, July 6. The Southern Cross airmen spent yesterday in repairing their engines, and they departed this morning, for Bunder Abbas. SOUTHERN CROSS LEAVES. CALCUTTA, July 7. j After spending the day overhauling tile engine with R.A.F. mechanics, the •Southern Cross left Karachi at 5.55 a.m. yesterday. ARRIVES AT BASRAH. (Received this day at 8 a.m.) BASRAH, July 7. The Southern Cross arrived here at 12.45 and is leaving immediately. BAGHDAD, July 7. The Southern Cross has arrived and leaves for Athens to-morrow.
