The announcement that the Government steanier “ Hinemoa ” has beer solcl to ’Mr W. D. McKay, of Invercargill, in order to be used in the Milford Sound tourist service, was made by Sir Joseph Ward to-day.
The vessel will be refitted at Auckland.
