FOR NAVAL LIMITS. United Press Association—By Electr Telegraph—Cnpyr ghtl. NEW YORK,. June 17. The “New York Times” says:— General Dawes in a speech before the Pilgrims Club to-morrow, is expected to urge the treatment of the naval question by statesmen on broad lines. No early naval conference is to be called, but tlm naval powers for the time being are expected,, to work through the Preparatory Commission between the United States and Britain. They will keep Japan, France and Italy informed of their negotiations. A basis for real progress in naval limitations has already been laid as the result .of the AlacDonaldDawes conference. . - •
