Cook won jn the fifth round on a foul in a fight at Boston against Kisko, who ruled a slight favourite. The weights were: Cook 138 f ibs., Risko 187-11 hs. They fought on fairly even terms in the first round, both missing frequently. Risko landed a hard right to Cook’s body in the second round, Cook going down and claiming a foul, but the referee disallowed it, and as the Australian rose, Risko rushed him landing lefts and rights to the body.
