NOT A “PEEPING TOM” MAGISTRATE'S DECISION. TNVERC’ARGILL. June 12. At' the Police Court to-day. a middleaged married man pleaded not guilty to a charge of being found oil enclosed j)remises without lawful excuse. After hearing evidence, the Alagistrate expressed the opinion that tlie defendant was found in a very compromising position. Ho might have gone to the place to get information from pure inqnisiiiveness, «” some more morbid desire. An outstanding feature of the ease . was that the evidence did not suggest that lie was there for any of these reasons. The Afagistratc accented the explanation that he hml h-M-ed through a window to see if the son of the occupier was at home, and dismissed the charge.
