ADDINGTON STOCK SALE, (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 12. There were no entries to-day at Addington live stock market, but prices remained up to previous levels, and in. some instances'showed improvement. Fat Cattle. —There were 030 head yarded, including a line from Westland of Hereford heifers, which averaged ill 2 os. The market was irregular. Extra good steers sold at £lB 10s and £2O, heavy £l(s 10s and £l7 ]os, handy weights £l4 os to £io os, medium £lO los to £ls los, light £8 las to £lO os. Heifers and cows sold: Best £l3 to £ls 12s fid, prime £lO 10s and £l2 os. medium £G los to £lO, light £4 12s fid to £fi 10s. Fat Sheep.— There was a medium entry, mostly of ewes. Prices were firmer. Heavy wethers sold to 42s lOd, prime 34s t0.36s fid, medium 30s to 335, light 27s to 29s fid. Heavy ewes sold to 33« lOd, good 29s fid to 325, fair 24s fid to 27s fid. light 21s to 235, interior Ifis fid to 20s fid.

Store Sheep and Lambs.—There was but a small entry of lambs, mostly oddments. Cross-bred ewe I amts sdd to 25s 10(1. three-quarter bred lambs to 255. The adult sheep were a fair entry, and met with consistent competition. Romney ewes sold to 32s 6d, two-tooth three-quarter-bred ewes to ;Us 3d; four, six. and eight-tooth halfbred ewes .to 30s. Half-bred wethers sold: Best 23s 9d to 25s- 3d, others 18s 3d to 225.

Fat Lambs.—A very small entry met a good demand. Extra prime sold at 35s and 3, s Id, good 30s to 33s 6d, medium 28s and 29s Gd, light from 24s 6d to 275.

Fat Pigs—There was a medium yarding. Prices were slightly better. Choppers fetched 30s to £5 2s 6d, light bacon -3 to £3 10s, heavy £3 15s to 64 9s 6d. The average price was Gd per !b. Light pork sold from 33s 6(1 to -!ss Gd, heavy 47s Gd to 54s Gd; the average, price'dicing 7£d per lb.
