WEDDING BELLS
FROMM—WILD. At All Saints Church on Wednesday, June 12th. the Rev. Nelson-Wright officiating, the marriage took place of Ruth Hazel, daughter of Mr and Airs Richard Wild, Bealey St. to Percival Thomas Fromm, of Gisborne, son of Mr A. A. Fromm, Hamilton. The church was tastefully decorated by girl friends’ of the bride under the direction of Miss Daphne Brass, of Christchurch. Miss Davies presided at tlie organ, the congregation joining in the singing of Hymn No. 281—A. it M. Tlie bride was given away by her father and looked very attractive in a frock of cameo pink fashioned on early Victorian lines with bodice of satin embossed in cream roses with georgette yoke. The skirt was made of frills of . georgette edged with silver lace, and formed in an uneven hem line with pink and silver flowers at the waist. The dainty veil of pale pink tulle, which was presented by a Wellington girl friend, was composed of orange blossoms and silver ribbon. She carried a bouquet of pink chrysanthemums and maiden hair fern.' The bridesmaids, Misses Eva and Alilliccnt Wild, sisters of the bride, were attired in dainty frocks of georgette; the former in pale jade and the latter in mauve, both of uneven hems. They carried bouquets to tone with their frocks, and looked very quaint in their silver Dutch caps. The bridegroom was attended by Air Jack Renton as best man, and Mr Leonard Paterson as groomsman. After the ceremony, about 50 guests were entertained at the residence of the bride’s parents, and were received by the bride’s mother who was attired in a frock of navy charmeline and fawn satin hat. The presents were numerous, and came from all parts of New Zealand. ‘ Air and Airs Fromm left later on a motor tour, the bride wearing a frock of mauve and pink chenille embossed georgette and flared coat trimmed with far, and smart felt hat to match. Their future home is to he Cisbomc. In the evening aim’d. 60 young people were entertained at a social evening at All. Saints Hall by the bridesmaids.
