Pony racing is London.!.* newest thrill, introduced to-day on the wellturfed attractively situated Nortliold Park course at Harrow, costing a quarter of a million sterling, under the auspices of the Pony Turf Club, of which Lord Lascelles and Earl Carnavon are stewards. Ponies are limited bo 15 hands and six races constitute tile programme. Admission to the course is Is 6d, stands 4s 6d. There arc five stands and parking accommodation for six thousand cars and stabling for one hundred ponies. Bookmakers anticipate a swift popularity for the new sport.
