(Times Service). (Received this day at 9. a.m.) LONDON, Alay 17. Tlio Times’ Berlin correspondent states that Robert Kronfeld, the Austrian glider pilot, made a record gliding flight between Berbeshoevde and Detmokl, a distance of 62 miles, in 51 hours over Teutoburger Wall, winning a newspaper prize of £250. It is estimated that the actual distance covered was ninety miles, Kronfeld often hovering over one spot for an hour to catch favourable air currents, and elsewhere attaining over 50 miles an hour in a following wind, motor cars following him with difficulty.
