Fierce tribal fighting has broken out a few miles from Lundik Hana, the farthest British outpost, owing to the Shinwari tribe’s attempt to exert tribal rule over the Mohmamls, Khogianis, and SurldiVudi, and to exact toll from the camel caravans passing through the Eastern province from Peshawar to Jallalahad.
