CLAIM FOR FEES

Magistrate Young gave his reserved judgment in a case against Dr C. H. Uphnm from whom the Hospital Board claimed £3B, as fees charged by the Hoard for the examination of swabs taken from defendant’s patients. Ihe verdict was for defendant who, the Magistrate said, had repeatedly since lhzv), disclaimed personal responsibility on the ground that lie was merely acting as agent for the patient.
