POISONING CASE

body exhumed. (Australian Press Association) SYDNEY, May 2. In the Mastcrton poisoning case, the inquest (cabled on April 30th.) was resumed to-day. Definite traces of arsenic had been found in the body of William Masterton, a master carrier, who died on .March 10m. at Ashfiekl, a suburb of Sydney, and whose body was exhumed three weeks later. A number of neighbours and relatives of the deceased gave evidence that Mastcrton was on good terms with ins wife before his death. Others declared that they heard Masterton complain of his cousin, James Williamson's conduct in the house. Williamson resided with the Mastertons. Detective Janies read a statement made by Mrs Tunstall, who stated that she heard Masterton say, just before his death. “I, hate Williamson!
