ADDINGTON STOCK SALE.

Fat Cattle.—There was a large yarding. Prices were a shade easier. Few good consignments were forward. Prime heavy steers sold £lfi 10s to £l9. prime £l4 to £lO. medium £ll 10s to 013 15s, light £8 to £lO 10s. Extra prime heifers sold to £lO 12s (id, medium £9 10s to £ll. light £0 to £8 15s. Extra prime cows sold to £ls 12s (id. prime £9 15s to £l2 10s, medium £8 to £9, old and inferior £4 5s to £6. Fat Sheep.—There was a large yarding, comprising consignments of good quality. The market was a shade firmer. Extra prime wethers sold to 3Ps lOd, prime wethers 32s to 35s fid. medium’ 29s 6d to 325, light 27s to 295, extra prime owes sold to 335, prime 25s (id to 29s fid, medium 22s fid to 2os ; light 19s (id to 21s (id; old and inferior from 14s. Fat Lambs.—There was a small yarding. The quality was mixed. Values were fully up to the schedule. Extra prime lambs sold to 34s 7d, prim ( » 2fls fid to 32s fid. medium 27s 3d to 29s 3d, light 25s 3d to 275, unfinished 23s 9d to 255. 'Store Sheep.—There was a small entry of lambs. The best conditioned sorts sold up to tbe best ol the late prices. The others were irregular, 'll,em was a nondescript entry of adult s |,eep. Competition was fair for th' best lines, but tbe market was in and out for other lots. _ r Pigs.—There, was a large entry o’ pigs,' both pork and bacon. The demand was easier, with a hardening tendency at the dosing stages. Light choppers sold from 30s, heavy to £■ 18s fid. light bacon 57s fid to £3 10s, heavy bacon £3 1.5 s to £4 6s fid ; average price per lb, yd to fi.,d. Light poi k sold 33s to 41s, heavy 45s to 555, the average being 7d to 7-jd per lb. There was a medium entry of stores, ami a good demand for large sorts. Woaners were soiling from ss, and extra large stores to 425.
