A large attendance gathered at the Mahinapua Links for the opening of the season on Saturday last, when a; Mixed Foursome Handicap was played. The weather was perfect and the cards returned were above the aveiv ag for early, season play. The unique feat of holing out in one was achieved by one of the. players who has sig-
