j regret to report the death, which took place on Monday evening at the Westland Hospital, of the infant daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Trippner, of Boss. The litle girl, who was about 1-1 months old was suffering from croup and had only that day been taken to the hospital lor treatment and passed away suddenly the same evening. Mr Trippner, who is a marine engineer, is at present at Auckland. The parents have the deepest sympathy of a large number of friends in the sail'loss they have sustained by the loath of June, their only child.

The following players will represent Boss to play against Kokatahi at Boss next Saturday:—J. Ableson, Bos. Green, D. Head, A. Barker, B. Parker, J. Bodewald, J. Johnston, T. Houlnban. K. Martin. P.
