The Government have decided to appoint a Royal Commission into the allegation made at the recent unsuccessful prosecution against Fitzgibbous, on a charge of attempting to bribe the late Chief Secretary, Air Bruntnell. Jarvie. a member of the Legislative Assembly, whose name was freely mentioned in the ease, had requested the appointment of Hie commission.
