A DAILY MESSAGE
DON’T TRUST HIM ! A i.on'o time ago a fellow was asked what he thought on a certain subject. “Well,” lie replied, “I don’t know as I know. Some say this, and some say that and t’other; lint what I say is, there’s no knowin’ and there's no tollin'—and mark my words, I’m right.” It’s a pity I hat that fellow didn’t die a bachelor—hut he didn’t,. In every company, club, society, party, or business we meet his lineal descendant—tlie man or I lie woman who doesn’t know because “ Some say this, and some say that, so there’s no knowin’ and 1 here’s no fellin’.”
i here are two classes of people win don’t commit themselves—those win can’t and those who won’t. Tin lormer are to lie pitied for tjieir indecision ; the latter to he despised for theii cupidity.
Generally, the man who won’t commit himself is a time-server, and is to he trusted by no man, so don’t trust him. —M. PRESTON STANLEY.
