Mr Harold Hislop. Manager in Wellington for Mr Stewart Dawson, states .ant Mr Dawson lias sold his property in Sydney (which includes the famous Ambassador's Cabaret) for the pxtraordinarv mice to £7/o,(Ktu.
This sale follows hard upon the Dawson property in Melbourne, which was disposed of in November last for £200.000, tlius making a total of £1,020,000 for the two properties.
Other properties which Air Dawson still holds, and their estimated value, are: Regent Street (London) £8,000,000; Hatton Garden (Ismcloii) £L>O,000; corner of Queen Street (Brisbane) £2,000.000; La in t>t on Quay (Wellington, N.Z.) £80.000; High and Cashel Street (Christchurch, N.Z.) £70,000.
