A dynamite bomb in a candy box, addressed to Governor Roosevelt, was found amongst a parcel of post matter at the main station of New York City Post Office by a porter, who kicked the package, causing some smoke to issue from it. The House adjourned till Thursday. The Government benches were completely wrecked. A Red pamphlet headed “ Hindustan Socialist Republican Army,” confining a notice signed “ Balraj, Honorary Chief.” was thrown with the bombs. It contained the words “Long live the revolution.” The two men arrested surrendered easily, one after firing two pistol shots.
