A BEREAVEMENT

At the U.F.B.A. Demonstrations tlus morning all competitions were stopped at 11 o’clock, and competitors and firemen were called to the centre of the ground, where the President, Superintendent Gilbert, read a telegram just received advising the deatli at Auckland of Air Edward Watts, brother of Captain T. J. AVatts, Secretary to the r.l-’.B. Association. The President moved a vote of sympathy with Captain AVatts and his son, where is also present as a competitor, and the members of the family. The assemblage stood in silence, uncovered. Ihe competitions were then further adjourned for five minutes as a token of sympathy.
