The Manchester “Guardian” says Lord Melchett’s scheme to regulate relations between Chemical Industries and Trade Unions is already practi- . 1 pally approved by the Engineers Union. '■ Lord Mclchett has written an introduction explaining he proposes to establish a central labour department to assist the unification of all labour matters, including wages negotiations, trade unions welfare in work and sports.
