For the concluding day of Woodville races the track was fast and the attendance good. The totalisator took £14,155 against £12,972, an increase of £llß3, and handled £29,626 for the meeting, against £26,143, an increase of £3480. Results: — Hopelands Handicap.—(l) Novar 1, (3) Panorama 2, (2) Redbank 3. Won by a head. Time 2.49. Novice Handicap.—(s) Lady Spear 1, (1) Mot-hplane 2, (2) Snowshoe 3. Won by half a head; two lengths. Time 1.14 3-5. Autumn Handicap.—(l) Imperial Spark 1, (12) Voitro 2, (2) Royal Lineage 3, Nucleus 4. Won by a neck; two lengths. Time 1.56 1-5. Mangapapa Handicap.—(s) Tapestry 1, (1) Lucky Bag 2, (7) Marica 3. Won by three-quarters of a length ; a head. Time 1.1. Telegraph Handicap.—(2) Ridgemount 1, (1) Commendation 2, (3) Miss Pat 3. Won easily by two lengths; one and a-ha-lff. Time 1.13 2-5. Debutante Stakes.—(2) Coon Song 1, (1) My Own 2, (3) Crash 3. Won by two lengths; a head. Time 1.1. SECOND DAY’S RESULTS
GORE. February 21
Gore Racing Club’s summer meeting concluded in fine weather. The attendance was fair, and the track good. The cafe receipts totalled £216 17s fid, as against £232 4s on the second day last year, the total lor the meeting i>eipg £512 11s fid, a decrease of £ls. The totalisator handled £9.3RD 10s, as against £9.550 last year, the total for the meeting being £19.056, as against £19,949 10s. Results:— Matnura Hurdles.—(4) Taiamoa 1. ,1) Erin Go Bragh 2, (5) Te Maui’3. Won by a short neck; half a length. Time 3.17 1-5.
Hokonui Hack.—(l) Mem bo 1, (3) Lucky Maid 2, (8) Crossbow 3. Won by two lengths; half a length. Time 1.29.
Autumn Handicap.—(2) Tardy 1, (4) Town Bank 2, (1) Queen Balboa, b. Won by one and a-lialf lengths; two lengths. Time 1.55 3-5. Progressive Trot.—(9) Country King 1, (1) Luatli 2, (13) Fescue 3.
