DUAL VOTING
(By Telegraph—Press Association). NEW -PLYMOUTH, Feb. 15. Airs Emily Stockman, aged 82, was charged at Waitara this morning with dual voting in the Stratford electorate at the General Election. Witnesses stated the defendant was a respected resident, who was showing the effect of age. The Magistrate, Air Tate, said he was satisfied lie would not be justified in sending the case Tor trial, because the old woman lacked any guilty intention, but lie emphasised the seriousness of the offence when knowingly committed.
