Undoubtedly many are asking, where does the General stand? Well, the General stands where he always stood, for the Army’s constitution as interpreted by the foundation deed. “ It is tbe greatest grief of my life that capable, tliougliful men who have done splendid work for the Army, should doubt the rightness of the Koumler’s plan, lmt l ido not set* a middle course, so must follow the Army flag and adhere to the foimdn tion principles, which is a splendid heritage. I ask you to pray for the Army and your comrades throughout the world, many of whom are facing peculiar difficulties; pray (for the High Council on which there is a great responsibility.
