General Booth, in a message to readers of’the “War Cry” says:—“•AI y dear comrades, —I realise this is a had time of perplexity to you as well as to me. Undoubtedly many are asking, where does the General stand? Well, the General stands where he always stood, for the Army’s constitution as interpreted by the foundation deed. “ It is tbe greatest grief of my life that capable, tliougliful men who have done splendid work for the Army, should doubt the rightness of the Koumler’s plan, lmt l ido not set* a middle course, so must follow the Army flag and adhere to the foimdn tion principles, which is a splendid heritage. I ask you to pray for the Army and your comrades throughout the world, many of whom are facing peculiar difficulties; pray (for the High Council on which there is a great responsibility. Pray that I may be guided and strengthened to do God’s will. I am thankful for the world-wide sympathy and loyalty. 1 pray lor you and love von.”
