One of the biggest crowds for a long time, over five- thousand, gathered outside St. .Margaret’s, AYcstiiiinster, for the marriage of the Duchess of York's brother. David Rowes-l.yon, to Rachael .Spender Clay. The Duke and Duchess walked along the pathway of the church in full view of a cheering throng. The guests included hosts <yf titled people. Presents were received froni the Queen and other members of the Ho.val Kamily. Tile Duke and Duchess of York’s gift was a dining room table and four entree dishes.
