Seventeen Queens of Beauty, who are at present ,i.n Paris, await a great judgment on Thursday when one of t,ioin will ho selected to represent Europe, and will go to Galveston. I .S.A. to challenge the American “Queen” tor the world’s beauty title. Despite the fael that the seventeen are of different nationalities, each is designated by the English title of “Miss.” They are as follows:—Miss England. Aliss Ireland. Miss France. Miss Germany. Miss Italy. Miss Russia. Aliss Poland. Aliss Roumania. Aliss Holland, Aliss Hungary. Aliss Switzerland. Aliss Denmark. Aliss Austria. Aliss Serbia. Aliss Bulgaria. Aliss Greece and Aliss Spain. Each “Queen” is under twenly-five voars of noc and is unmarried. F. ,, d<l n! them are blondes, four are light brown, and five are dark.
