MISSING LADS

NO TRACE OF THEM. (SEARCHERS MjEET WITHOUT RESULT. Sergt. King received advice this morning that the search party out for tho missing, lads, James Park and John Morpeth, under Constable Drummond, had travelled some 5 or 6 miles over tho divide at Browning’s Pass and had met the search party out from Lake Coleridge, without finding any trace of them. Tho report states that the party who left on Sunday morning experienced very rough conditions, the rivers being in flood aiid the travelling very rough. They were unable to get much 1 beyond Grassy Flat on Monday and returned there for the night, making another start on Tuesday morning. One of the party was left on the top rtf Browning’s Pass to await any signal of success, but-none was forthcoming and he returned early this morning to the nearest telephone to send in tho news above. It* is understood that the search is how being continued off the usual track in the endeavour to find some trace rtf the missing. Quite a number of parties are out assisting in the search.
