The Post Office Department has issued an order withdrawing Imm I lire Canard ships all mail except thal specifically addressed to such shins fo delivery in Europe, Africa and Ales: Asia. As n result, a great volume o" the mail usually transported by tin Berengaria, Ausonia, and Audania against which a -ruling was made wiL bo lost to the Cunard line, because few persons customarily specify the ship? on- which mail is to be carried. Moreover from three to six days will b added to the Lime of delivery of the mail, which would have been carried by the Berengaria when she sails a I midnight- fo-night, because the order transferred the mail to the White Star liner Baltic, a slower vessel sailing tomorrow morning.
