The Dublin correspondent of the “Dnilv Mail” says that not suice the Anglo-Irish Treaty was signed seven years ago has the Free State’s future been more bright. A stable Government has been established, crime has diminished remarkably, and trade is on the upgrade. A year ago the country’s adverse balance was more than £16,000,000, and at the end of November bad fallen to £12,000,009, as a result of reduced imports and increased exports. Irish eggs, butter and bacon now command top price in the English market. Tourist booking to Ireland has begun in many United States centres. Six liners called at Galway during the season, where there were none a few years ago.
