AIR SERVICE
IN NEW GUINEA. (Australian Press Association) (Received this day ai 11 a.m.) MELBOURNE, January 4. An aeroplane service in New Guinea is making very little profit. Only one service is operating to-day, compared with eight some time ago. Miners are charged €'2s sterling for a trip to the goldfields. It cost 5s (id to get a bottle of beer to them.
