MISSING

ON MOUNT EG MONT. (By Telegraph—Press Association). STRATFORD, January 4. Two men and two visitors from Auckland are reported missing on Mt. Egmont. The caretaker at Dawson’s Falls house searched last night and three parties are searching to-day. Their names are not available. PARTY SAFE. STRATFORD, January 4. About noon the four people reported lost on Alt. Egmont returned to Mountain House, without being seen by any of the search parties. It appears that they were not lost, hut were benighted ami spent a comfortable night in the bush, continuing the journey to Mountain House this morning.
