Lindrum overlook and, passed Inman for the first time 10-night. He scored 697 to bis opponent’s 123 in the afternoon play, which was more marked by consistency than brilliance. In the night session, lie added 715. against Inman’s thanks chiefly to a break of 312, one of the largest of the match. Critics express the opinion that as Lindrum lias: shown .such susceptibility to cold in London, his chances against Smith, in the colder north ol England arc not too promising.

Playing at Dunedin to-day. "Walter Lindrum. the Australian champion billiardist. established two breaks of over 10,90 which is claimed to lie a record. In the afternoon, playing, against C. Burtensbaw, the well-known Dunedin professional. Lindrum made a break of ] .097. following up with one of -106. Tn the evening, against the Dunedin amateur. E. N. Stewart, be compiled a break of 1.175. mostly by potting the red. and cannons, at the top of the table.
