The “Daily Mail” is featuring an epoch in Bible criticism, which is the work of some of the most learned and most devout scholars of the Anglican communion, and in which ceitain 01 ~ accepted Biblical stories are declared myths. The editor is Doctor harles Gore, the greatest living English theologian, assisted bv Canon Groudgc and Rev. Alfred Guillame. The book declares Bible stories such as the flood and turning Lot’s wife into a pillai of salt are simply symbols.
