(Received this dnv at 5.30. a.m.) LONDON, Nov. .‘SO. A Rome correspondent states Italy is displaying a white heat indignation because Modugno, who assassinated the Italian Vice-Consul, Count Xardim, at the Paris Consulate on Sept. 12 th. last «year, escaped with two years’ imprisonment and two hundred Francs line. The jury returned a verdict of manslaughter. Signor Rainieri moved a resolution of sympathy with the relatives, in the Chamber of Deputies, declaring Nordini was the victim of anti-Fascism and anti-Italian ferocity, and also that the verdict was ludicrous. Deputies rose as a silent sign of approval.
