A DOUBLE TRAGEDY
OF FOUR MONTHS AGO. (Australian Press Association). (United Sendee). (Received this day at 10.30. a.m.) MELBOURNE, Nov. 21. Four months ago Robert Yitue, of Ballarat, reported to the police that his daughter, Harriet, aged lour, had gone for a walk with William Hiddle, aged eighteen, and both failed to return. Hie police were unable to trace the missing youth and the child. The mystery of the disappearance was explained to-day, when the bodies of Hiddle and the girl were found concealed in a chimney in a house at Ballarat. The police are baffled concerning the affair.
