MOTOR-BOAT MISSING.

ADELAIDE, November 21
Eight men are missing in a motor boat which left Point Davis on Saturday night for a trip to the Gulf. The party included a father and two sons named Gadd. MISSING BOAT FOUND. MELBOURNE, Nov. 21. A boait which contained the four missing men cabled yesterday, was found on the rocks at* Bluff Point with the hoards stove m. A search for the bodies is proceeding. TWO MEN KILLED. CAIRNS, November 21. A train from the sugar mills was derailed near Cairns. Two trucks capsized and William Lloyd and William Walsh were killed. SENTENCED TO DEATH. MELBOURNE, Nov. 21. William Watson Carr was sentenced to- death for the murder of Margherite Williams. ATTEMPTED MURDER. YOUNG GIRL’S ACT. ADELAIDE, Nov. 21. A girl, aged. 16, was remanded to the Children’s 'Court on a charge of having attempted to murder Matthew Kennedy and Amelia Kennedy by administering poison. The girl has been in the employ of the Kennedy’s, and while she was pouring out tea, Kennedy noticed it had a dark colour and green sediment was found in the teapot. INDUSTRIAL DISPUTES. SYDNEY, Nov. 21. Official Commonwealth figures show sixty industrial disputes, involving 20,959 workers, were recorded during the quarter ended June 30th. last. Men lost 178,321 working days and £173,262 in wages. < VICTORIAN LABOUR MINISTRY MELBOURNE, Nov. 21. The Ministry is again defeated. Hogan moved an adjournment as a test vote, saying if the motion was rejected it would clearly indicate the Ministry no longer possessed the confidence of the House. The motion was rejected by 34—28. The dissolving of the House will probably not be sought as it is undesirable to have an election so after the Federal elections.
