BYRD’S SECOND SHIP

WELLINGTON, November 19

It has definitely hern decided by Commander Byrd Unit his second ship. City of New York, will go direct to Dunedin, and will not call at Wellington. This arrangement is necessary to allow the expedition to leave New Zealand for the Antarctic as close t-a the schedule as possible.

Commander Byrd and other members of the expedition at present in M el!i•;,j.ton will leave for Dunedin at the end of this week.
