A special film display in Melbourne Town Hall, presented bv Mr H. -I. Munson, the New Zealand. Commissioner. to-night, was a brilliant function attended by over two thousand representative citizens, including the Governor-General, Lady -Stonehaven. Lord .Mayor. Lady Mayoress, representatives of the Federal Governor. Naval. .Military and Air Forces. I Diversity professors, leading professional and business men. and distinguished visitors of other States. 1 lie presentation of Ihe pictures created quite a stir in the City Hall which was crowded. Extra police controlled traffic in the vicinity. 'I lie films, depicting Maori Lie and customs and general scenic and sporiing subjects created a wonderful impression and .should have a dominating efleet on tourist traffic.
