MOTOR CYCLES COLLIDE

THREE AIEX KILLED

STR ATFORD, November 10

Three were killed in a head-on collision between motor cycles at Taranaki some time before midnight last night. A motorist passing along the road saw the bodies and reported to the Stratford police about midnight. One man believed to be named Williams, belonging to New Plymouth, was found to be dead, and the other two were very seriously injured and brought to Stratford Hospital, but could not give any account of the accident. These were, Athol Roberts, aged 16. and Charles Vincent Johnston, sons of local residents. who were returning 'from New Plymouth at the time of the accident. Roberts died at six this morning and Johnston about 8 o’clock.
