ARREST ON MURDER CHARGES

A detachment of police have gone to Varna to extradite three survivors of a Greek hand of brigands allegedly guilty of eighty-eight murders and terrorising the countryside around Jamina for four years. It is further alleged that early in 1928 they attacked a mail van. killed 'eight attendants and stole considerable money. They were arrested in Athens, but they escaped alter killing three detectives, and subsequently established a. lucrative grain merchants’ business in Bulgaria before their arrest.
