(Received this day at S a.in.) EELTIT, Oct. Si. Sir John Simon and mom'bers ol tho Reforms Commission received n hostile reception on arrival at Lahore. Thousands of Nationalist demonstrators attempted to rush the barbwire barriers around the station and stoned the police who retaliated, injuring several prominent leadears, including Lain .lajpat Rai. Ihe Commission were boycotted. A procession in tho evening was dispersed by the police. The death roll in the Madras floods is thirty-six.
