ANGLO-FRENCH NAVAL AGREEMENT
SOME CRITICISMS. (United Press Association —By Elecft’ic Telegraph—Copyright). (Reoeived this day at 9.25. a.m.) WASHINGTON, Oct. 25. Some naval diplomatic officials believe the Anglo-French naval agreement is. much alive as ever, notwithstanding, the unmistakably vigorous language with which it was denounced in the Kellogg Note of September 28th. ’ " Despatches said the agreement
would probably be heard from again. because France was insisting that Britain should -carry out its end of B the bargain, which consisted of the promise for the support of the French land disarmament policy. This opinions echoed in authoritative quarteis here, where it is believed that as . long as France maintains this position, England,' undoubtedly, will demand that France should continue to support the British naval thesis. Naval men suggest that Loudon and Paris might rearrange the naval agreement, in the hope of making it more attractive to the United States, but without sacrificing its fundamentary principles.
